Rooms
Redcliffe House has 5 beautifully-restored guest rooms — the Garden, Walnut, Wisteria, Hawthorn and Studio rooms. Each room has its own special appeal, with features including original baltic pine boards and antique furnishings as well as modern facilities. The bright & airy interior combined with the warmth and hospitality of an early convict-built farmhouse complete the picture of serenity and tranquillity.

Each room has all the modern comforts the convicts had to do without - ensuites, fridges, hairdryers, heating, colour TV, DVD player, peace and privacy. Special touches, such as fresh flowers and complimentary sherry or port make your stay a memorable one.

All rooms offer rich heritage colours, comfy country style furnishings, large ensuited private rooms and a quiet calming outlook across tranquil gardens. The charm of Redcliffe House has cast its spell on many a weary traveller for nearly two centuries, both in its previous life as a farmhouse and more recently as a guesthouse. We regret that Redcliffe House is not suitable for children or infants

Awaken to birdsong (alarm optional) and eat a hearty country breakfast served in the dining room, or, in the case of our Studio, enjoy generous continental breakfast provisions in the comfort of your own room. Relax on the wide verandah and watch the native birds in the garden with its oak trees, roses and box hedges.

Wander through the gardens and vineyard, sit and read a book, watch the birdlife. Stroll past old fruit and nut trees to the tranquil Meredith river. Spread yourself out, make yourself at home!

Redcliffe House is a peaceful rural retreat on the Meredith River. It's in a great location and so central to the Tasmania's East Coast and Midlands attractions.
There's as much, or as little, as you want to see and do.
